THE ONGOING ATTACK  

RSF forces continue attacking Port Sudan, Sudan’s main Red Sea port and the de facto government capital, with continued targeting of hospital and civilian infrastructure, according to confirmed reporting. The sustained attack on the city that is both the last major functioning government hub and the primary entry point for international humanitarian aid represents a specific strategic objective: collapsing the internationally recognized government’s operational capacity while simultaneously preventing aid from reaching the 25 million food insecure Sudanese civilians.
